So it continues...

The last blog was a bit too much about my self so, I decided to take this time out to talk about certain things going on around me.

Okay, lets do this thing.

Today we made a video about a bunch of international students promoting UNI for a competition, which some of us still don't even know about. hehe.

We got help from Eva, who I believe is an electronic media major and also a local celebrity at UNI.

That is her.

The video was actually suppose to be shot outside, but good ol' Iowa weather had other plans. Bringing in some awesome winds and great variations of sunlight and clouds.

Anyways we went inside our student union and here are some of the bits of the video making.

In a nut shell, all we said were 

• who we are 
• were we're from 
• and finally "We are purple and gold (our school colors)" in our own languages.

Unfortunately the video editing is not done yet so, we'll all have to wait to see how it went.

The theme of the video kindda reminded me of a music video by Switchfoot called "We are one tonight". Take a look if you want.

The second reason why we were there was for Cat's final project for her photography class. She had to take some awesome pictures with this antique camera with the film & all and develop it herself. But something went wrong with her camera so she has to take pictures again. That was sad, I hope she gets it fixed. Here is a pictures from her other camera though.

Well even if the video and Cat's pictures were the main reason we gathered there, what's to stop us hooligans from having some fun in the process :)

Thats all that happened today. It was fun and something productive came out of it. Isn't that what everyone wants in life?
